Today, Just Indie Art is featuring the new remix album titled ‘playsound(cmon3tta): The Remix Album’ by artist cmon3tta. Known for his previous hits such as Dance Like The Disco and HopeInTheSunrise and the albums ‘Away for Daze’ and ‘BHIND THE CNZ’, he’s back once again (yes! with a splendid and a sensational new collection of 10 tracks).
“90s Kid Anthem (stillherestillqueerl Mix) featuring Deedi” kicks off with a peppy intro and riveting arrangement. “Away For Daze (Th3m00d Mix)” is another standout, featuring hewhomakesmusic and a mesmerizing build-up and nostalgic synths. Despite the retro influence, the arrangement showcases a fresh direction, diverging from his earlier style. The vocals are superb, with a cascading mood that uplifts the psyche.
“00hlala” featuring LULZ takes a slightly different route from his previous work. The transitions are smoother, and the tonal shifts are artfully blended with nuanced vocals. The powerful beats complement the upbeat energy of the track.
“It Don’t Matter None (Mindset Mantra Matters Mix” (our favorite!) featuring hewhomakesmusic is breathtaking, radiating an audacious vibe. The distinct signature of cmon3tta’s work is evident—audibly so. He experiments boldly here, redefining vocal tonality and arrangement style. The track avoids repetition and highlights his innovative style. The cascading layers and intricately crafted beats are simply magnificent and surreal.
Overall, we’re impressed by the album’s exploration of multiple genres whether its Away For Daze (Th3m00d Mix) or XOS ( I Want 2 Believe Mix). If you’re looking for a refreshing evolution of his sound, this album is a must-listen. It offers new musical dimensions to explore and experience. And do check out tracks like BRITNEY (Queen Of The Scene Mix) featuring Deedi & Qweeny and So Damn Beautiful (Spring ’25 Mix).
playsound(cmon3tta): The Remix Album is now streaming on Spotify and Apple Music—we highly recommend it.
