But he is doing all he has to do to make sure when the album drops they leave no stones unturned and give the awesome fans nothing short of a masterpiece.

So unfortunately if a producer requires more time he will grant it to them. So they deliver nothing short of their best work. Production wise on the album he has Tommy Toms. He produced In da Club, his first single from the album & made one other beat. He has his  brother from another mother Mookassa the great from Oklahoma. He  made a couple beats. KELECHI also purchased two very specific beats from Tarris the producer  and then he has the big guns obviously MADUKWU and him. He believes that covers  the full production  on the album.

I’m really looking forward to sharing the album with the world, I think it’s a  really good album & not just because it’s mine.

Interview With Kelechi

What is your real name & stage name?

Kelechi Chinwah

Where are you from?

Port harcourt(p/h city), southern Nigeria. So I’m a Nigerian but I have lived in London, U.K. for about 25 years, was also born so I believe the PC term would be im Nigerian British or British Nigerian, works either way.

What do you do?

I’m a music artist, producer, songwriter, poet, voice, actor, and more.

How long have you been in your  industry?

I’ve always written & made music all my life from the age of 11 but never professionally recorded and released my music. It was & still is my therapy, I didn’t wanna share it.

What is your biggest accomplishment?

I wanna say coming back from the dead but I really enjoyed making my album and listening to it together now makes me proud the release date is 2 December at the moment but possibly pushed back to January 29 as I’m still waiting on bits from featured artists. So be on the lookout.

How has COVID affected you on your journey?

I’d say positively because when covid struck & out the world on pause, it gave me a minute to think & get back to making music, also helped with my decision to share my art because there’s a lot of people hurting in the world and Covid pretty amplified peoples struggles.

What’s your next move?

Make more music, I’m especially excited with what I’ve got coming looking forward to sharing my versatility as an artist and show people sides of me musically that they didn’t even know existed I.e I’ve got afrobeats songs, country songs I’ll be cutting across  genres in a manner that hasn’t been seen or done in music before.

Are you working on any projects?

Yes yes yes I am simultaneously working on a few projects at the moment.

First I’m working on EPs with my partner in rhyme BIG T. Most people know me as a solo artist and I am, but I’m also one half of a group known as Deadly Combination (DC) for short . We’ve recorded 2 eps already, the first is titled D.C as it’ll be our debut & the second is Wreckin cru, although Wreckin Cru might be released before D C I’m told due to logistical issues. Also I wrote a song called webitics, recorded a rough draft and sent to my friend & favorite rockstar from Chicago Vessy Mink, I had briefly told her about the song in passing on CH, because she really involved in the web3 space with NFTs, crypto currencies, blockchains, etc. To cut the long story short she sent the track back to me with some dope vocals, So I decided it’ll be a great idea to make it part of an ep. I know Vessy stretched thin with her web3 commitments but if I make the tracks & send her I she’ll do her bit & we already know we work well together because she’s featured on a song called sacrifices.

Where do you see yourself in 1 year?

With a huge catalog selling my music directly to the fans  and no longer putting my music on streaming platforms like Spotify that rob artists of our blood sweat and tears.

Is there anything else you want people to know about you?

I appreciate all the fans that f*ck with my music big up Phoenix, Arizona, my analytics show I got more monthly listeners there that anywhere else in the world, Big Phoenix Arizona I LOVE YOU.
